Create a Share Link
Create a shareable link for your CANVID screen recordings with one click. Upload, export, and share instantly.
Want to instantly share your exported video? With CANVID’s Create a Share Link feature, you can upload your video to the cloud and generate a shareable link, all in one step.
How It Works
The Create a Share Link option is available under Export in the Editor.
Go to the editor
Finish a new recording, or open an existing project.
Export
Click Export at the top-right section of the Editor
Set then toggle
Choose your settings in the Export window, then toggle Create a Share link at the bottom
Export to file
Click Export to file, then wait for the process to finish
This will:
- Save the video as an MP4 in your computer
- Automatically upload a copy of the video online, to your Cloud Gallery.
- Instantly generate a secure, shareable link
Only people with the link can access your video. It's private by default and not publicly searchable.
Sharing Options
Once uploaded, your video can be shared as:
- A direct link
- An embeddable player for websites and blogs
- A viewable link in emails or messages
If you'd rather upload and share a video online without saving it as MP4 locally, just use Quick Share
Important Notes
- This feature works only with MP4 exports and is not available for GIFs yet
- The online video quality is based on the export settings you choose
- Great for tutorials, product demos, or quick reviews that need fast distribution
