Maintenance Plan (Legacy)

The Maintenance Plan was an annual add-on offered under CANVID’s previous pricing model. It combined continued cloud services with other benefits for Lifetime License owners.

The Maintenance Plan is now a legacy plan and is not the current way to extend cloud access. CANVID now separates desktop ownership from optional cloud usage.

What replaced the Maintenance Plan?

The CANVID Desktop License, previously called the Lifetime License, includes lifetime access to the app, lifetime app updates, local AI support on compatible hardware, 1 GB of cloud storage, and one year of Cloud AI usage at no additional charge.

Desktop License users can choose the cloud services they need:

• Purchase non-expiring Cloud Credits after the included Cloud AI period ends.
• Upgrade from 1 GB to 25 GB of total cloud storage for one year when they need more space.
• Upgrade to Pro for unlimited cloud storage and included Cloud features.

Local recording, editing, exporting, app updates, and locally processed AI features do not require a Maintenance Plan.

What if my account still shows a Maintenance Plan?

Some existing customers may still see Desktop License (Maintenance) or a Maintenance Expiry date on the Account page. This identifies a plan purchased under the previous pricing model.

You can review your current license, Cloud Credit balance, cloud storage usage, and available purchase options from the Account page in CANVID. Use Manage Account for billing details or to manage an existing subscription.
