Cursor Editor
The Cursor sidebar in the CANVID Editor offers a variety of customization options to match your content style and give your recordings a more polished, professional look.
Cursor Editor Options
Show Cursor
Enabled by default, this option displays your cursor in the video. Turn it off if you want to hide the cursor completely.
Cursor Style
Choose from three different cursor styles: Windows, Mac, or Touch.
Always Use Pointer Style (disabled by default)
Enable this to prevent the cursor from changing into other interactive elements such as hand pointers or text cursors.
Click Effect
Add a visual Ripple effect to highlight mouse clicks.
Cursor Movement Smoothing (enabled by default)
Smooths the cursor’s path for a more natural, less jarring movement.
Cursor Movement Animation Style
Adjust the Cursor Movement Animation to control how smoothly the cursor moves on screen.
Choose from four presets or fine-tune your own settings using tension and friction for a custom feel.
You can also fine-tune the smoothness by adjusting the Cursor Movement Animation properties. Choose from four presets or customize your own tension and friction levels for a perfectly tailored look.
Video Background Editor
Customize your CANVID screen recording background with wallpapers, gradients, solid colors, or your own images. Add blur, padding, rounded corners, and shadows for a polished, professional look.
Cursor Smoothing
Make your mouse movements look smooth and polished in CANVID screen recordings.
