CANVID Desktop License
Learn what the CANVID Desktop License includes and how cloud storage and Cloud AI access work after the first year.
The CANVID Desktop License, previously called the Lifetime License, is a one-time purchase that lets you use the desktop app for life.
It includes:
- Lifetime access to the desktop app
- Lifetime app updates
- Unlimited recordings and exports
- Local AI features on supported hardware
- 1 GB of cloud storage from the day the license is activated
- One year of Cloud AI usage at no additional charge
The included Cloud AI period does not change the 1 GB cloud storage limit.
What happens after the first year?
Your Desktop License and lifetime app updates continue. You can also keep using AI features that support local processing when your computer meets the hardware requirements.
Cloud services are handled separately:
- Cloud AI: Purchase non-expiring Cloud Credits when you want to process supported AI features in the cloud.
- Cloud storage and sharing: Your 1 GB storage limit remains available. You can upgrade to 25 GB of total cloud storage for one year whenever you need more space.
- Pro: Upgrade to a Pro subscription for unlimited cloud storage and included Cloud features.
You can view your Cloud Credit balance and storage usage from the Account page in CANVID. When an upgrade is available for your account, you can purchase it there.
