Another patch of mostly fixes as we make very good progress on some of the roadmap wishlist items such as clip speed adjustment options and privacy masking as well as big strides in support for our AI related features.

In the meantime, this update focuses on stability improvements and delivers major performance boosts to our generative AI features, including audio retakes and synthetic webcam generation.

  • Recording frame rate options - Choose between 30 and 60 fps for screen recordings in Recording Settings
  • Zoom and click detection - New trigger options for automatic zooms. Choose which clicks count: All Clicks, Long Clicks, or Ctrl+Click
  • Enable or disable individual zooms - You can now toggle zooms on or off. Great if you want to disable them all, then re-enable only the ones you need

Improvements

  • Transcript export improvements - When using Copy as Text or Copy as SRT in the transcript tab, cuts made on the timeline are now respected, so the exported text matches the final video
  • Lower resource use when minimized - The editor uses fewer system resources when the window is minimized
  • Reduced RAM usage - Large projects now load much more efficiently, with significantly lower memory usage
  • Zoom UX improvements - You can now right-click anywhere on a zoom (including its drag and resize handles) for easier access to options
  • Unsaved changes safety - If you try to quit from the tray while the main window is minimized and there are unsaved changes, the app comes to the front so you can save first
  • Project load fallback - Better handling when a project fails to load, with clearer messaging and a safe recovery path
  • Advanced Settings - Moved the debug settings to their own dedicated settings tab for better organization
